The Economics Behind the Headline was born from a personal curiosity.
After completing my studies in Business Administration and finishing an MBA, I began paying closer attention to the data, numbers and context behind economic and business news.
I often found that the headline is only the starting point. Reality is usually more complex and, quite often, more interesting.
A balance sheet, a strategic decision, an investment or a public policy can have implications that are not always obvious at first glance.
This project comes from that curiosity to understand what is really happening and to share that analysis in a clear, rigorous and accessible way.
My goal is not to publish more news, but to analyse it calmly and explain what lies behind each headline, using data, context and a critical perspective.
